Welcome to EMWC100.com the official website of Eagles Mere Water Carnival!00, the 2007, 100th showing of the Eagles Mere Water Carnival. On this website you will find all the information you need to participate in the family fun that is being planned for the 100th showing celebration August 3rd, 4th and 5th 2007 in Eagles Mere PA.
Take a moment to paddle around our very cool site for details on what’s happening, when, and where during the fun filled weekend of the 100th Carnival. Let us know if you are a past Commissioner or Queen who will be returning. Our Parade of Floats is complete but there is still time for docks, landings and boathouses to join the fun and excitement and register to participate in the 100th showing of the Water Carnival.
There are lots of other ways to get involved too, all of which are loads of fun, sign up to help on one of our event committees, enter your dock or boathouse in the Water Carnival!00 Best of Show competition or decorate your bathhouse locker at the Beach as part of our newest Water Carnival event. WE ARE SOLD OUT OF FLOATS!!!! All 20 floats are registered with two extra. Thanks to everyone who signed up. Lots more Boathouses, docks and landings have register. 6 to 8 pm: EMAA Cocktail Party at the Walkup?s cottage on Alleghany Ave.
8 to 11 pm: Commissioner?s Ball on the Village Green
You will receive your sashes at the door
9:30 pm: Introduction of Queens and the Royal Crowning
***Former Queens are free, but if you plan to attend with an escort, the cost is $20 for the couple.***
Saturday, August 4, 2007
9 am: Float-building begins at the Edgemere Dock
7:30 pm: Queen's ride on the Royal Yacht for Shoreline viewing - pick-up at the Beach.
8 pm: Floats launch
8:30 pm: Queens arrive back at the Beach on the Royal Yacht
8:30 pm: Introduction of Former Royalty and seating into Royal Court.
8:45 pm Floats performances begin

1 to 3 pm: Bath House Decorating Viewing at the Beach
3 pm: Bath House Decorating Award ceremony on the Beach Green
8:30 pm: Water Carnival slide show and Ice Cream Social on Village Green
9 pm: New queen announces theme for next year! Then another showing!
Sunday August 5th with be the Locker Decorating contest at the beach. Check out the Tree Top Eagle for details on how to sign-up for this new event.
Clean up at Edgemere: Docks must be cleaned and ready for lake swim by 1:00 p.m.

We are very pleased to annouce that we have booked the celtic pop/bluegrass band the McKrells of Saratoga Springs NY as our headliner at the Commissioners Ball Friday August 3rd. This is a great band sure to get Eagles Mere dancing and pumped for the big 100th carnival. You can check out samples of the McKrell sound at www.secondfret.com/mckrells.htm. Also on the Commissioner's Ball we now have confirmed that the event will be under the big tent on the village green 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. following the EMAA cocktail party.
